PRIVACY POLICY

Who we are

dcaspx (“dcaspx,” “we,” “us”) is a tool for dollar-cost averaging into the SPX6900 token on the Base network. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is a starting point and not legal advice.

Information we collect

• Email address — when you sign in. Authentication and your embedded wallet are provided by Privy; we receive your email and a user identifier.
• Wallet address and on-chain activity (buys you make through the app). Blockchain transactions are public by nature.
• Photos and captions you choose to submit to the community feed, plus votes you cast.
• Basic usage data — standard logs (e.g. request metadata) needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

To operate your account, execute and record the buys you initiate, maintain your streak and the public leaderboard, display the community photo feed, and keep the service secure. We do not use your information for advertising.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not collect or store your payment-card details. When you buy USDC with a card, that payment is handled entirely by Coinbase; dcaspx never sees your card data.
• We do not custody your funds. Your wallet is self-custodial — dcaspx cannot move your assets.

Service providers

We rely on third parties to provide the service, each handling data under their own terms: Privy (sign-in + embedded wallet), Coinbase (buy USDC with a card), Hive and on-device checks (photo moderation), Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), and the Base blockchain (public transactions).

Photo moderation

Photos are screened by an on-device check and a server-side moderation service before they appear in the feed. You can request removal of content you submitted by contacting us.

Retention & deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and submitted content by emailing onchainexpat@pm.me. Note that on-chain transactions already recorded on the Base blockchain are public and cannot be deleted by us.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

dcaspx is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
